Cannot install DPM agent on Exchange Server 2013 RRS feed

    Hi

    Im running a DPM Server 2012 R2 and an Exchange Server 2013 SP1

    I tried to install the DPM agent on to the exchange server and got the unable to get configuration error.

    So i did some WMI testing with wbemtest.exe

    I can connect to the exchange server WMI from any server on our network except for the DPM server.

    It is only the DPM server that cannot connect to the Exchange server via WMI

    The DPM server is in another subnet but I have been able to deploy agents to the servers on the same subnet as the exchange server.

    My question is why cant the DPM server see WMI on the Exchange server but any other server can?

    please check Name Resolution booth ways from DPM and Exchange Server

    Are there more than one NetworkCard on DPM or Exchange?

    Is there an active Firewall between DPM and Exchange?

    Just checked the name resolution of both servers, the exchange server connection-specific DNS suffix is missing. I'm guessing this is the problem. Thanks.
