Windows Explorer list pane doesn't change to reflect selection change in navigation pane RRS feed

  • Question

  • Steps to reproduce:
    1) Open Windows Explorer.  In the navigation pane, select a folder.
    2) Using the down or up arrow keys, move to a differerent folder.

Expected behavior:  The file list in the list pane should change to reflect the new folder
Observed behavior: The file list does not update.  Neither does the location text in the location bar.

    3) Press Enter.  Now the file list updates to reflect the new folder.

This is 100% consistent on my installation, Windows 7 Professional x64.

I suspect this issue may relate to the following thread, since I'm having that problem too:

  • I've been putting up with these refresh problems for the better part of a year now.  I've read through this thread.  Not using libraries does not fix anything for me.  Anybody have any other suggestions?
