Can't save my custom theme. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have made a custom theme but I can't save it. There is no button next to the "Get more themes online" button. Is there a way to fix this or at least another way of saving my theme?

Answers

  • Check the Group Policy settings. If 'Prevent changing theme' is "enabled" then  users cannot change or save a theme.

    Thanks

  • Hi Creamcups,

How did you custom the theme?
We could refer to the following link to custom the theme. Please ensure you have saved the themes you have customed.
    Create a theme
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-HK/windows7/create-a-theme

If the issue persists, we could create a new account and login with this account to configure the theme to have a check. There is a possibility that the present user profile has corrupted.
If the present account has corrupted, we could refer to the following link to have a fix.
    Fix a corrupted user profile
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-hk/windows/fix-corrupted-user-profile#1TC=windows-7

    Best regards
