  • Hi,

Have you created a receive connector to accept anonymous connections or did you modify the default connector?

Is TCP port 25 (SMTP) open from the internet to the exchange server in the firewall?

You have a MX record pointing to the external IP address of the firewall?

Any antivirus application installed on the exchange server that could block SMTP traffic?

  • In addition, please also verify that each domain for which you want to receive inbound Internet mail is listed on a recipient policy and Exchange is authoritative for that domain, or, if non-authoritative, Exchange has a connector configured for the domain and allows relaying to it. And here is another article for reference. Hope helps.
