RDP constantly drops connection after upgrade to high sierra RRS feed

  • Hi,

       I finally took the plunge to High Sierra on my work machine and discovered that my RDP connection kept dropping. I searched the APP store and discovered that you had released a new RDP App for Mac and so I installed that thinking you may have dropped support for the old app once high sierra was released. To my chagrin this did not fix my issue. About every thirty seconds I receive a message telling me that my connection was lost and that it needed to re-connect. It is extremely frustrating. Can this be fixed? 

       I am using RDP to connect to 2 different systems. One is an AWS server running windows server 2016 Data Center the other is a Windows 10 Pro workstation running version 1709 build 16299.492.

       Please help!

  • Do you repro this connectivity issue with both the v.8 and the v.10 Appstore clients?

  • Yes. Same issue. Constant connection loss and auto-reconnect. 

    Have 2 other mac systems, both on sierra, no issues. Tested fine.
