Changing dial plan for multiple users simultaneously? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm unable to see a way to change the Lync dial plan for multiple users at once.  The Control Panel only allows this change one user at a time, and I haven't found a Powershell command that accomplishes it, though I suspect that would be the only way.  Anyone run into this?

    Thanks

  • Thanks Jeff.  I mean the Dial Plan Policy, i.e. "Global".  In the Lync Control Panel I can select groups of users and assign some policies (Telephony, Conferencing, Client version, PIN, External access, etc...), but cannot assign a Dial Plan to more than one user at a time.

Actually, while typing this I found a blog entry for this very task.  The short answer is:  No, you can't assign a Dial Plan to more than one user a time.  However, these kind gents wrote a script to basically automate the process of configuring each user individually.
