    I would like to know if WSS 2008 Standard can be a primary domain controller.

    Hi,

    We can set a WSS 2008 Standard system as a primary domain controller.

    who is right?

    is there and MS Doc we can refer to?

    Hi Shaon,

    I am just wondering how is that possible? I am using WSS2008 STANDARD and "dcpromo" shows "The Active Directory Domain Services Installation Wizard is not supported on this SKU" error.

    I am aiming to install RODC, but don't seem to be able to find the proof that it's actually supported - from the information I found this feature is available on WSS2008 R2.
