Profile format error 0x80420011 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have configured  wifi network with eap-ttls security .

I tried to connect to it from my windows7 PC . I have set the properties of wifi network in my PC follows.

       security type - WPA-Enterprise

       Encryption type - TKIP

       Authentication - EAP-TTLS.

I have also configured the user name and password.

I tried to connect to the configured wifi network then the connection succeded. Now I exported the profile for this network using netsh  .  I have renamed the profile to wpa_eap_ttls.xml

Now I have written a batch file to automate the connection instead of manually configuring and connecting to the network.

    Batch file look like below.

    netsh wlan disconnect
netsh wlan delete profile name=SSID_NAME interface="wifi"
    netsh wlan add profile filename="wpa_eap_ttls.xml" interface="wifi" user=all
    netsh wlan connect name=SSID_NAME ssid=SSID_NAME

When I tried to run this batch file I am able to successfully connect to the network.

But when I try to run the batch file from the remote comuter or from a computer on the network I am getting the error.

I have also tried to open ssh session to the computer where the batch file exists  and ran the batch file but still I have the same problem

    Profile format error 0x8042001.

In my requirement I have to run the batch file from our server machine . Is there any way to do the same.

    Thanks in advance .
