Soundmax is driving me crazy!! RRS feed

  • I have a custom built computer with a MSI Mainboard and an Intel Celeron 1.99ghz.
    I tried to download Soundmax and install it but everytime I do it it tells me "Driver not found"
    Ive been checking around forums but i cant get any real help. So im asking you here what do i need to do im also using service pack 2 and operating system is Xp Professional please help me send all replies to h_mcleod1287@hotmail.com. Thank You alot

  • Well I guess i'm not much of an expert the user manual only said U8668-D Mainboad and thats it . Or wait yes i think it is Biostar since the CD a just found says that

    There seems to be no Vista drivers for this, but you can try installing the XP driver...


    Also from the website, the onboard audio is a C-Media AC'97 Audio not ADI Sound Max AC'97


    There seems to be multiple codecs. I'd recommend you use a magnifying glass to find out what C-Media chip is on your system and download one of the appropriate drivers below...
