  • Hi,

Outlook 2016 desktop alert is based on the new notification mechanism introduced since Windows 8. You may check whether notification settings for Outlook are configured correctly on your Windows 10. To verify this:

    1. Click All Settings in the Action Center.
    2. In the opened Settings window, click System.
    3. From the left panel, select Notifications & actions.
    4. Under the “Get notifications from these senders” heading, find and click on Outlook.
    5. Make sure that you have enabled all notification options you want.
    6. Close Settings.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Steve Fan

  • Thank you for the update. You may try running a quick repair of your Office installation and then see whether this issue continues.
