RMS Server Greyed out and Event ID 28000 in Operations Manager Log RRS feed

  • I am receiving the following error (Event ID 28000) in the operations manager log and I am having many issues (listed below):

    1) Discovery is not working at all -- when you enter a machine in to install the agent -- It runs forever and never talks to the server at all (ran wireshark during the discovery process)
    2) I am unable to manually install agents - when I do they never show up in the "pending management" (Although I see them talking to the server using netstat -n )



    The Root connector received an exception from the SDK Service while submitting task status:

    Cannot set availability on a health service that doesn't exist.
