winSAT.EXE confirm window on login RRS feed

    Hi,

I just installed steady state 2.5 on 3 identical (fully updated) windows vista enterprise SP1 systems.

These systems are connected to a Samba PDC server.

Since I installed the program I get an anoying message when I login (as wel as a restricted user, as a domain administrator)

The message asks permission to execute winsat.exe.

Before I installed steadystate I did not get these message and now I get it every logon.

Is there anyone with a simular problem and does anyone know a solution ?

    Thanks In advance

Hi KVC, I'd like to inform you that by default, winSAT.exe is a part of Windows system assessment tool. Based on the description, if those non-restricted administrator account also receives the message from winSAT, I recommend you post the issue to Windows Vista forum to narrow down the issue as this is most likely caused by system factors instead of Windows SteadyState:

    Thank you for your understanding.
