NAP DHCP Shared Secret RRS feed

  • hi, this is probably a very basic question but I'm setting up a Nps Server with DHCP Enforcer, as my RADIUS client I enter my DHCP IP and I enter a shared secret, the same shared secret that I'm supposed to enter in my DHCP Server as well.
    Where exactly should I type the shared secret? there are no reference to that in my DHCP Server console.

  • Hi Francesco,

    Does the DHCP server and NPS server on the same machine?

    If not, we need to install NPS role on the DHCP server too, NPS on DHCP server works as NPS proxy.

    In DHCP&NPS proxy server:

    In remote NPS server:

    Shared secret is configured when we add RADIUS server & client, it is not configured on DHCP role.
