IE 7.0 - Page cannot be displayed, but I can ping to the external website like RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey guys.....I need assistance

    Server OS - WIndows 2008 R2 Enterprise.
Roles Installed - AD, DNS, DHCP, NPS & IIS

I have a domain control set up & clients are connected in the dc. When I open the IE 7.0 from the DC computer & access websites, I am getting error - IE cannot display the webpage. But I can see the computer is connected to internet. I can also set the default gateway for clients as server's IP & clients can access the internet without any issues.
Also wanted to let you know it was working fine early today.

    Steps I did -
    1. Tried to connect to internet using IE 7 after disabling IIS as I thought port 80 conflict.
    2. Allowed port 80 in the Windows firewall & Adv Security (both in Inbound and Outbound).
    3. Also tried to reset the IE settings to manufacturer's settings - still no go......& got same message.

Please let me know anyother options I can try......
