Windows 7 readiness tools in SCCM 2007 RRS feed

    Hi,

    We are planning to migrate our Windows XP devices to Windows 7 with Office 2010. I was wondering what the best way is to find out which of our devices are compatible with Windows 7 and which are not.

    I've seen there are various tools to use but I am unsure what's best when we have a SCCM 2007 server already in place., The only condition is that I only have access to the Primary Server, not the Central Site Server.

    The tools I've seen are:

    MAP

    ACT

    Normalise CM

    Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor

    Any help is gratefully received.

    With MAP and ACT you can find out the status. I don't think you require anything on SCCM for this.
