extend main partition on C: drive RRS feed

  • Question

  • So I've been reading around the forums about how to extend the C: drive but I'm still quite lost. I own a laptop and I'm pretty sure it only has 1 main hard drive according to this picture/link -> http://i47.tinypic.com/xcudkw.png                  As you can see have took some space from my "data volume drive" and now its left in "unallocated" How could I move it to my C: drive? additionally all the most of the drives or all of them are dynamic making it more confusing

  • Hi,

If you wanna use Built in tool to extend C drive, the only resolution is to extend C after deleting D partition. Windows built-in tool can only extend a partition with the space behind C.

  • Hi,

you have very complicated partition structure. You must use software like Acronis Disk Director to edit partition structure.
