Dear Forum,
I have some concern about deploy skype for business server on promises, we want to deploy skype for business server and public to external but we don't have firewall like F5 or other..., so it is possible if we deploy and using below server:
1) 3 Front End Server
2) 2 SQL Server
3) 1 Edge Server
4) 1 Revers Proxy
5) 1 Office WebApp Server

You need to create a DMZ zone for the edge and Reverse proxy server.
if you are using a Virtualized Environment you can create one and also allow connections through windows firewall which will be opened by default as the Required services and components are installed on edge and Reverse proxy
In short , yes you can ... while it may not be that secured

Hi,
Agree with Khoj.
You can deploy Edge and reverse proxy in DMZ area.
For SFB FE server, SQL server and office web application should be deployed in the internal network.
Please notice, you need to deploy office web app server on the separate server.
