  • I'm running against the same issue. I guess option 6 is new in Server 2019, and I can't find any documentation yet explaining option 6. I'm a bit anxious about changing it back to 3, the old standard. Does anyone know what option 6 is and why this is the new standard?

  • I found out why this is happening (for me at least). I was running the Cluster Validation from a Windows Server 2016 server (the 2016 version of the RSAT Failover Clustering tool). This version don't seem to work properly when validating Windows Server 2019 clusters. When running the validation from a Server 2019 server (the newest RSAT tools) the error doesn't show up and the report is compliant, even with the HangRecoveryAction on '6'.
