I open a mmc console locally (vista machine) to view the logs on a windows 2000 terminal server. I right click as specified to "save as" csv file locally to my desktop.
I cannot find it afterwards. I did a search on the c drive and it returned a shortcut, but to a nonexistent file on the desktop.
Now I lost all of my security event logs on that terminal server (it left 4 days running). Where does it go or how can I restore it withouth so much trouble?
