What would be the correct upgrade path to get from MIM 2016 SP1 RTM to 4.4.1459.0? RRS feed

  • Question

  • What would be the correct upgrade path to get from 4.4.1237.0 (SP1 RTM) to 4.4.1459.0?

    Or even a brand new installation?

    As far as I can tell the only way to get to 1459 is an upgrade from 1302, but you can't get from 1237 (SP1 RTM) to 1302.

    Am I missing something or do I really have to install MIM without SP1 and then upgrade to 1302, and then again to 1459?

  • Turns out the upgrade path is:

    1. Download the updated ISO containing the 4.4.1302.0 build.
    2. Uninstall 4.4.1237.0
    3. Reinstall MIM SP1 (new ISO)
    4. Upgrade to 4.4.1459.0

  • Looks like this path is working, but there is sill no official "yes thats correct" statement from Microsoft.

    If anyone get some official respons, it would be awsome to know.

    // Edit:

    Okay i today get the statement from Microsoft that your descirped path is supported.
