Best Practice to MS Project 2016 RRS feed

       Can you help me with a best practice doc to make a more suitable config to MS Project 2016?

    So it depends on what you are trying to achieve...   Best practise for me would be to do the following (1-8 are to do with the project, 9-10 are about you!)

    1. Always use auto scheduled tasks

    2. Always create dependencies

    3. Use milestones and deadlines

    4. Organise tasks using appropriate summary tasks, and don't create dependencies between them.

    5. If you use resources, understand the different interplays between work/duration/units and the impact of task types.

    6.  Take a baseline.

    7.  Update your project appropriately.

    8.  Report using views and Reports and set these up so reporting is easy, the timeline is great too.

    9. Think before creating a task - does it add value to your schedule?

    10. Buy a book, watch some videos, get some training on Project.

    Other people will have different opinions...
