Invalid Page Url Error when clicking an existing attachement in list item while in edit mode RRS feed

  • Question

  • I hope someone can help me with the List attachement problem I am having with 2007.

    Steps:

    1. Created a new custom list

    2. Created a new list item and upload a new attachement file (Microsoft...xls, ppt or doc)

    3. Save the item.

    4. Edit the item and click on the uploaded file.

    5. No errors, file opens fine.  Close the item

    6. Create a new column and select the "Person or Group" type and save.

    7. Edit the previous list item and then click on the previous uploaded file.

    8. Invalid Pauge URL Error is diplayed. Click OK and file opens.

This only happens with MS type files while in edit mode, viewing mode works fine.

PDF and TXT files are not affected.

There are no custom modifications to the list webpart. Everything is straight OOTB.

    Thanks!
