Cannot get simultaneous ring to work RRS feed

  • Hi

    Call forwarding works fine.

    I have enabled simultaneous ring in the voice policy but SfB just doesn't attempt to make the call.

    Used CLS Logs and SIP logs (SipStack, Mediation Server, Inbound and Outbound routing, S4) but I can see no error or attempt on SfBs behalf to make the call.

    Installed CU4 but it hasn't fixed it.

    It's definitely not the SIP gateways error because I have done a SIP trace and can see no attempt for any outbound call.

    Any ideas?

    Please check if the issue still happen when set the simultaneous ring to other Lync users instead of the external phone number.

    Also try to set the simultaneous ring with the SEFAUTIL tool, then test the issue again.

  • Just to be clear with the Simultanious ring options from the client , you have selected the third radio button which says Simultaneous ringing , once you select the number to ring along with  your SFB client , just below that option you would see in words , what it is supposed to be doing , do you see hte details and the number format correct to which you want the call to ring ? you can dial that  number also from your lync client in this same format which you see there, is that correct , can you verify these things
