  • Hi Sunny8088,

So, is SSMS hosting on the remote machine, but SSRS and SQL Server database is hosting on local machine? What's the version of SSRS you are using?

As the error message stated, it seems that you may encounter a configuration error. First please make sure you change the database by Reporting Services Configuration Management.

Then you can check this article: How to determine the version, edition and update level of SQL Server and its components

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

    Pirlo Zhang
