Building new OLAP Cube on SQL 2017 Failing RRS feed

    I have a fresh install of SharePoint/Project Server 2016 (16.0.4744.1000) configured and I'm trying to create the OLAP cube in SSAS 2017 (14.0.226.1).  When I build it, I'm getting the following error...

    Failed to build the OLAP cubes. Error: Failed to create the Olap database: SP_PWA. Error: Database 'SP_PWA' has compatibility level larger than 1103 with StorageEngineUsed set to InMemory. Tabular databases with compatibility level at 1200 or above must use StorageEngineUsed set to TabularMetadata.

    Is there a way to control what compatibility level that it creates the database with?  Is there a way to manually pre-create the database?

    When configuring SQL analysis server type did you select?   Multidimensional, Tabular or PowerPivot.

     The default is Tabular, but during installing of SQL analysis, you should have selected Multidimensional, which is OLAP.
