MS apps on surface pro 2 can't access internet RRS feed

    Chrome, Outlook, and windows update can access internet.  Nothing else can, and they either hang or crash. That includes onenote, onnote metro, cnn metro, store metro, windows mail (metro), internet explorer (metro). It looks like sugarsync is ok, as is espn metro. So something about the other apps share a common means / path to the net, and that's broken. As another clue, I tried doing a restore. The restore failed, having some issue with windowscommunicationsapps, whatever that is. Sounds related though.

    Hi,

    Did you make any change to your computer recently that may caused this problem? Did you install any desktop application? if so, how about them? Please check Event Viewer if it identify this problem.

    In addition, please try to use Dism command below to fix your system file for test.

    Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    Open Command Prompt(Admin), type the command above, then press Enter.
