SharePoint 2010 - Your client does not support opening this list with windows explorer externally from network

Question
-
I have made a Archive site on SharePoint 2010 which stores photos and data from the histroy of the school i work at.
It's working fine apart from when you try to access Windows Explorer View externally from the network (Your client does not support opening this list in windows explorer) BUT Works fine internally to the network on the same laptops!?
The address is http://oldbloxhamist.bloxhamschool.com you should be able to try it even with out logging in.
The person who wants to update it needs to upload loads of files that he's just scanned in and needs to access the Windows Explorer view from home.
I have tried it on different versions of IE, all machines are have Office 2010 installed and i think the access mapping is set correctly.
Server is running Windows 2008 R2 with IIS 7. Internet Server is running TMG 2010. The client that needs to connect is Windows 7 with IE 9 but i have also tried XP with IE 6.
I'm guessing it must be something within TMG as it's working fine internally but not at all externally.
I'm stumped!
Any help if you have come across this would be fantastic!
Thanks
Dave

Hi Wonchope,
Have you tried to put the Sharepoint server in the locallat.txt as a setting for the TMG client.
The link is talking about configuring settings for Forefront TMG Client to resolve local requests.

Hi Dave,
Here is the possible causes & solutions:
- As of now, This feature is available only in IE 32 bit. (Not in 64-bit internet explorer, Google chrome, Firefox)
- Try this hot fix: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=15123 after the fix, if SharePoint prompts for credentials, then implement this fix as well: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943280/en-us
- Try this hot fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841215
- Enable "Desktop Experience" pack in case of Windows 2008 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc772567.aspx
- Check the path of the folder in which you are trying to upload. It should not exceed the 100 character limit. (In IE6 especially)
- Add the website to the Trusted Sites list in Internet Explorer
- Enable/restart the "WebClient" service in Windows
Regards,
Sal

Thanks for the reply's guys, I have looked at these links before and tried what it suggests with no luck.
As I said it works fine on my laptop inside the network but doesn't work when at home so i can't see it's got anything to do with the client it's self?!
I can only see that it's a TMG or authentication issue... It's a right pain in the a5se though!!
