  • evaluation version of the windows 8 x64 can it be activated with a windows 8 enterprise genuine key ?

    You can try this hack:

    Change it to Win8 Enterprise, use the real Win8 Ent ISO and do the inplace upgrade.

  • yes but when you go to download that specific version Microsoft clearly states that its possible to activate once the evaluation copy is expired im puzzled here ??

    Look at this:
    "Following the evaluation period, you will need to replace the operating system on your test computer and reinstall all your programs and data. It is not possible to upgrade the evaluation to a licensed working version of Windows 8 Enterprise. A clean installation is required."

    this is what I told you from the begging. Use my trick or reinstall the real Windows 8 Enterprise.
