  • Hi,

     

    When running a script with UAC enabled, you should make sure to elevate the privleges of the account used to run the script. There is a good article here (http://www.microsoft.com/technet/technetmag/issues/2007/06/UtilitySpotlight/default.aspx) with a PowerToy to help you here.

     

    With UAC enabled, even if you are logged in as administrator, the applications you launch run with standard user privleges unless you elevate (usually done by right clicking and selecting "Run as Adminstrator").
