Vista Start Menu Search Problem RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I have discovered a problem where if I use the Start Menu to search for Adobe Photoshop, and if I type only "photo" or "photos", I do not get any results when having "Natural Language search" enabled.  I only get results if I type "phot" or fewer characters, or "photosh" or more characters.  It appears to be identifying "photo" as a keyword and hence not showing any programs that may start with "photo".  This problem disappears when I disabled natural language search.

I am using Vista Ultimate x64 with Windows Desktop Search 4.  I have disabled showing communications, files and favorites.  So, it only shows Programs.

Let me know if you need any other information.
