Windows 10 Clock Keeps changing RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have been having issue the past few days with Windows 10 changing the clock to a random time and we cant figure out what is causing it.

We have purchased a bunch  of HP Prodesk 600 G2 Minis and we have 2 existing Acer Vertion N2620G and the issue is happening to these PC models specifically. We have a domain environment and this is causing major issues with applications.  Both PC types are imaged using MDT 2013 Update 2 with Windows 10 Pro in UEFI mode.  the problem is after you boot one of the HPs up the Time is correct but after anywhere from 5 minutes to 15 the time will change to 4/2/2016 at 11:48 AM the Acers seem to change to 3/2/2016 at 12:00AM and this happens every reboot to those specific times.  If I open command prompt and do a "net time /set", the time syncs correctly with our domain controller.  and looking through the logs I am unable to see an issue I see where it syncs with the domain controller after they boot up then I see something in the logs a few minutes later saying "The system time has changed to ‎2016‎-‎04‎-‎03T19:40:30.322000000Z from ‎2016‎-‎04‎-‎26T21:25:58.064773900Z. Change Reason: An application or system component changed the time." and that's when the time resets to the weird time. This issue does not happen on other PCs and the application we run in them does not change the time.

It does not seems to be the CMOS Clock as they are good and there is no way 300+ PCs would have bad CMOS battery's out of the box. The HPs do not have a set time option in the BIOS it even and option and they are on the latest BIOS. They Acers do have a time in their BIOS and when I set it there it change when the windows clock changes.

Any help with this would really help as I have been scratching my head on this for days now and cant find a solution
