RIS problem.??? RRS feed

  • i created a image using riprep.exe. when i use RIS to deply the image it is formatting the whole drive .My requirement is to not to format the hard disk and should give the option for whre to install the image ( like in which drive) .

    I changed the answer file which is located at templetes folder .
    It there any another way to deplaoy the image?

  • Hi,

    Why a Riprep, maybe it is fast but there is always the image version control. If you want to use RIS make a clean install and put the updates etc in it, ok it maybe takes a 60 min to install the OS but it is always a clean.  then you have a trustfull install of windows 2003 r2 + SP +apps and domain joined + fully updated with wsus.

    Some where in my archive I have a sif file for HP DLXXX servers ping me if you need it.
