    I have a custom property inside my document and show this property inside my document.
    This custom property is date but the type is string (No other way), but when the property is set into the document I have specified a custom date format dd mmm yyyy.
    But when I print the document from Web Apps the format is ignored and the text value is printed.

    How can this be solved?

    Hi,

    I tried to create and print some custom properties from Word Web App 2010 on our SharePoint Server 2010, the printour looks just as expected.

    Some questions:

    • Which version of Word are you using to create the document?
    • And what Web App are you using to print the document?
    • What if we print the document to the XPS or pdf file?

    BTW, if there is a preview page available, how does it look like?

    Sorry for my late response!

    Did you set a format on your property? Like dd-mm-yyyy? the whole date is correct, but I do not want the time. Your screenshot is showing the time aswell...

    I use Office 2010 to create the document, version of web apps is "14.0.4763.1000" and the print is created as pdf (adobe is installed in order to create the print)

    I create the document in Word 2010, upload it to SharePoint, view the file in office web apps and then print it (where adobe is installed on the local machine)
