SCCM Client for Linux Stop accepting Command Line? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

A few days ago, I tried to push Command lines such as Reboot now and shutdown now, it works, But right now it stops working after a few days of idling, Re installed the entire SCCM again and Fresh copy of Linux and it's still not working...

so far Have i have done,

    1) Add in the Network Boundary and my Active Directory Boundary into MyGroup

    2) Installed the Linux Client, It's all Approved,Active, Hardware inventory is successful

    3) Create a Package > Create Program > Command Line added "reboot now" and "/bin/sh -c "reboot now""

    4) Deploy to a Group Called Red Hat Farm

Usually It will work... I tried to re-trace my steps and I still can't get this to work?

Did I Miss out any important steps or function i must enable?

  • All the above steps seems to be correct however can you try doing a machine policy refresh action using command :-

    /opt/microsoft/configmgr/bin/ccmexec -rs policy

Also check the log file scxcm.log located in /var/opt/microsoft/
