Win 7 randomly the desktop freezes RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have to reboot to get things back to order for a while. I nthink it is due to using a win 7 upgrade.

    My problem still remains.

  • Hi,

To uninstall the update patch you doubt. (Control panel->Programs and Features->View Installed Updates->”right click” and “uninstall” the patch)

Another way is to perform system restore to repair system.(Control panel->Backup and Restore)

    Windows 7 System Restore

same issue, doesn't matter where i am or what i am doing. the freeze seems totally random. i need to restart, only error 41 (unexpected shutdown) is reported by windows.

i do not have a previous back-up of the system to back-up, so it isn't an option. and i have installed a few updates in the years that i have been running on this machine.

so if you have any ideas for me i would be very pleased
