How I could check a "Network has limited connectivity" with PowerShell RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Window 10 allow to produce a wlan report with

    Netsh WLAN show WLANreport

In this report there is a status for "Network has limited connectivity".

I'm searching if it's possible to get this information with win 7. My objective is, when a user is connected to a SSID, I could check if his connection is limited or not.

    netsh wlan show interfaces
I could try to check the "state" parameter with this command, but I'm not sure that I could have other status than "connected / not connected". In that case, have you an idea how I could get this info ?

  • Only WI  8 and later can do this.

This forum is not the right place to ask non-scripting questions.  As in the networking forum.

  • Thanks you.

I'm sorry to have posted in the wrong place. For my comprehension, it's could be a scripting question, because I'm working with PowerShell, and I wish to include a function related to this question. But I understand what did you say.
