    Hi Folks,

    We are doing cross forest migration. We have successfully able to move mailbox from exchange 2010 to exchange 2016. But we are facing one problem moved mailbox user not able to receive any mail now.

    Suppose A user smtp is satyam.gupta@abc.com in exchange 2010

    After Move Request A user smtp is satyam.gupta@abc.com in exchange 2016.

    Hi,

    Do you complete mailbox migration?

    If not, we need configure connector between forest to ensure mail flow:
    1. Modify the accept domain from Authoritative domain to Internal Relay domain in source forest.
    2. Add source domain as Internal Relay domain in target forest.
    3. New send connector with smart host on source forest.
    4. Modify the receive connector and ensure "Source Domain Exchange Server's IP address" in Remote server scope.

    Hi,

    When you say not receive any mail i'm guessing it includes internal and external?

    Is the MX record pointing to the domain that is hosting Exchange 2016? or still pointing to Exchange 2010 domain?

    correct me if i'm wrong but the 2 environment are different right?
