  • I am looking for a way to track appointment history and hospitalizations without having to have several accounts over different apps. Is there a way?

  • You can now add and edit appointments in HealthVault. Look for Appointments in the Health History section of the Health Information page.

  • Hi Jess,

https://healthmanager.mayoclinic.com/default.aspx which is free to US HealthVault customers. Once you log in using your HealthVault credentials, you can create custom trackers to help you manage your health history.

Let us know if this does not resolve your concerns

One of the best ways to track this information is by using one of our HealthVault Partners sites. Mayo Clinic Health Manager

  • Hi, Jess,

The app I like for tracking appointments is Mayo Clinic Health Manager (https://healthmanager.mayoclinic.com) (I see Tomas has also mentioned this app.) You don't need to be a Mayo Clinic patient to use it. You'll find a "Contacts and Appointments" tab on the main screen after you log in and select your record. One of the coolest features is that after you create an appointment, you can use the "Prepare for a visit" wizard to print information from your HealthVault record to take to your doctor.

After you save the appointment in Mayo Clinic Health Manager, you'll see it under "Appointments" in the Personal Profile section of hte Health Information page in HealthVault. But, you won't be able to edit it there or add new appointments in HealthVault.

Because an appointment in Mayo Clinic Health Manager always includes who it's with (eg, your doctor), you'll find that if you look at the Details section for your doctor in the Emergency or Provider Contacts section of the Health Information page, you can see all your appointments with that doctor in the Related tab.

One more note, the great thing about HealthVault is that you *don't* have to have "several accounts over different apps". So, no matter which app or clinical service you find to add appointment data into HealthVault, it will be available to you in one place. If your hospitals or doctors can send visit summaries to HealthVault, they'll all be in one place for you.

    I hope this was helpful.

  • Hmm, I tried that and I dont like the feel of it, it messes with my organization of my healthvault. I have opted just to keep a personal doc of my appointments and upload it into the documents as it changes.

A way to edit documents without downloading them would be nice in this case, as having to upload a new log everytime I have an appointment (which is alot!) will become annoying.

I'll look into the mayo manager and see if I can get it set up to fit my needs in the mean time.
