  • Hi all,

I am looking for the best place to ask a question about WUSA.exe.

Specifically, I am trying to find out how to overcome an "access denied" error that occurs when running WUSA.exe from my own program, which in turn is being called as a custom action in an InstallShield installation on Vista. (Curiously, if I run my program on its own everything works fine; I wonder if the installer has more restricted access than my own program, which would be interesting given the purpose of the former!)

    Any help greatly appreciated.
