I have Windows Vista Business 32-bit and I am running Virtual Server 2005 R2. I am trying to create a new virtual machine running Windows Server 2008 Beta 3. I have a copy of the Windows Server 2008 Beta 3 DVD and am trying to boot the new virtual machine from it, however it is not giving me the option to boot from it. The message that I get is "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device". I have made sure that my physicl DVD drive is attached to the VM.
This is the first time I have tried to use Virtual Server 2005 on Vista. I had been using it on XP without issues and am following the same steps. Is there something specific to Vista to allow CD access?
