LDAPS authentication issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to connect to a LDAPS server (in Azure) from a Mac or Linux machine but I am not able to authenticate with the local account on the LDAPS. I am receiving error message: InvalidCredentialsError: 8009030C: LdapErr: DSID-0C09042F, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error, data 2030, v2580

Connecting with the ldaps works fine only the authentication doesn't work. Telnet connection also works fine.

I can authenticate with a AD account placed in the DN's instance just fine but then I cannot see any users. I only see the Schema en Configuration.

With a Windows machine and the tool AD Explorer I can authenticate with a local account and see all the accounts placed in the LDAP instance.

Both the Mac and Windows machine I used are connected to a hotspot so I can test the connection properly.

The tooling I use from the mac is called "Ldap Admin tool".

I've disabled the Windows Firewall Service on the LDAPs server but didn't have any effect except for not showing error code 5152 in the eventviewer any more.
