UAC in remote assistance RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

When a user sharing his desktop through remote assistance in windows vista/7/8 and helper tries to request for control, the user is getting a prompt in which he needs to allow the helper to respond to User Access Control.

In some cases like if the user is not an admin of the machine, he might not be able to allow the helper to respond to User Access Control.

In this scenario the remote assistance is totally unsuccessful.

is there any policy or something so that the helper can request the control and he can respond to the UAC in user machine even the user doesn't have admin privileges on that machine

    Thanks
