  • SCCM console crashed and when I do site reset errors below

    1072 = The service is marked for deletion. You could try to reboot the server and check sitecomp.log. It might get fixed automatically.

  • I have already done the reboot. I found it is marked for deletion but unfortunately cannot clear it.

    Also I am done site rest but errors when it get to sms stage

  • Hi,

    To clear the service that marked for deletion, we could try below steps:
    1.Stop the service: net stop "ServiceName"
    2.Ensure: the "mmc.exe" process does not exist (The "Services" list window): taskkill /F /IM mmc.exe
    3.Delete the service: sc delete "ServiceName"
