Hi have applied the Ucmeredist.msp as per KB articles 970679 and 972721 but I still am not seeing the display name leaving the mediation server (when I do a New Debug Session) and not seeing it at my gateway side (just incase I was reading the logs wrong).
Can anyone suggest anything I should try or if there are any other logs to look at.
I have checked the file verison numbers are correct all seems fine, the box is not throwing up any errors just not passing the name.

You need to apply these updates to have this, I confirm it works on OCS R2 and CUCM 6.x, and other PBX:
on client side, you need communicator update (3.5.6907.37)
on FE, you need to install server.msp update (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969821/) maybe this is the one you missed) and ucmaredist updates (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970679/)
on Med, you need Mediation.msp update ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/969835/ ) and ucmaredist update also
create the MediationServerSvc.exe.config file
Restart everything
