Enterprise Mode without FQDN. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello all.

I'm having an issue with the Enterprise Mode Site List not working if the URL is not a FQDN.

Does the list support local names (http://<host> versus <a href="http://.<domain>.com">http://<host>.<domain>.com)?

I know to leave the protocol off in the list.

Thank you in advance for any insight into this.

  • Hi Rob.

    Thank you for your reply.

The Enterprise Mode Site List is different than the zones.

That said, i found the problem and it had nothing to do with host names and everthing to do with the version value in the file.  It hadn't been incremented after the sites were added so the change wasn't applied.

    Thanks again.

  • Hi Ed,

Tools>Internet Options>Advanced tab, "Go to an intranet site for a single word entry in the Address bar"

    and

do you have any host redirects?

    and

are you using Intranet auto detection for sites in the intranet zone or a GPO maintained list or user entries in IE zone lists?

    Regards.
