WEI Error: System Powers Down During Test RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been trying to run my WEI test but each time my computer automatically shuts down. I've run SFC and there are no errors.

    Here are my specs:

    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T9300 @ 2.5 GHz

    3.00 GB RAM

    32-bit Windows 7

    GeForce 9500M GS

These are the logs from the last few attempts:

  • @CrushDaddy-As you know, the WEI benchmarks all the components causing them to get stressed. The system shutting down improperly like you mentioned might be caused by overheating or due to insufficient power coming from the PSU(Power Supply Unit). The system is protected in such a scenario that when a component overheats or there is insufficient or over rated power, the system is shut down automatically to protect it from damage. So check the temperatures and voltages of the components. To check, go to BIOS and check the Hardware Monitor or PC Health status section or download either of the softwares below.
1>AIDA64(purchase required for full version, trial available)
    2>HWMonitor(free)
    3>SpeedFan(free)
There are more softwares available also. But I have tested all the above personally.
Report back with the results and I will give you the solution :-)
