what group policies are there on a user profile

  • Hi ,

    How can we know what the group policies are there on a user profile when he log's in and out ( like home folder, shares, password policies etc ) from domain controller ?

  • You can review group policy processing results using gpresult tools og resultant set of policy RSoP mmc snap-in. You can also model policy application using Group Policy Management snap-in.

  • Hi,

    You can follow the steps below:

    1. On domain controller, click Start -> Run, type GPMC.MSC, it will load the GPMC console.

    2. Right click on "Group Policy Result" and choose wizard to generate a report for you desired computer and user account (please place appropriately). (Choose computer and select the proper user in the wizard)

    3. Right click the resulting group policy result and click the "Save Report…" => save report to save the report to a HTML file.
