Send As AND Send On Behalf permissions RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a user who has SEND AS permissions on a mailbox, but would also like to have Send on Behalf abilities as well.  Is this possible?   If so, how does the sender specify the difference when sending?

  • Pick one or the other.  When you configure both, the results can be unpredictable.

  • Hi,

If user has both SEND AS and SEND On Behalf permission, when user sends messages, it should show it as SEND AS.

It's better to choose one of two.

    Best Regards.

  • But it doesn't always, which is why people post problems about it all the time in these forums.

  • I think send as always take preference over send on behalf.
