Installing SP3 for Exchange 2007 on SBS2008 fails asking for "exchangeserver.msi" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

I was trying to install SP3 for Exchange Server 2007 on a SBS2008. First the setup reported open files by different proccesses, so I stopped every service that was reported. Then I restarted the installation and this time the verifications were OK, so I proceeded to do the upgrade. The Organization Preparation was OK, and all the necessary services were stopped, after that the installation program stopped asking for the location of "exchangeserver.msi" file.

I know that this file is in one of the SBS2008 DVD, but May I use that file? which file is asking for?

Does anyone knows if choosing that file the SP3 installation finishes fine?

    Thanks in advance
