I need to set up web server software with PHP to prepare for a class I am teaching. I installed Apache 2.2 - the install went ok but I could not get the apache service to run. I decided to uninstall apache and activate IIS7- I find that when I put an html file in inetpub\wwroot and then use localhost as the web address I get an blank web page - also view source shows an empty page. Any help in solving this problem will be most appreciated.
